Red became evidently the official Fall/Winter Color 2017 after NYFW and it was spotted pretty much all designers added something red in there collection in fall/winter season, Monse, Proenza Schouler, Victoria Beckhem , Givenchy, etc.
Now you don’t have to follow these colors or trends but it’s nice to bring certain changes to your everyday wardorbe. That been said you can either adapt them in your real life because, that’s the question I get all the time is about understanding what the runways are offering and then make them actually wearable.
So back to the color red, in the runways this year it was pretty much either Full Red Look (From Head to Toe), very bold and very intense RED. Some were very modern almost Futuristic and I found it very powerful even though they dont show any skin.
If you feel like going full red then go for it, you will find plenty of options in the stores this fall/winter, but if not you can also choose to wear combination like- Red Shoes and Red bag or Only red bag and a red lip or an outfit with a colorful pattern on it where Red is just one of the colors is also an option. Or you can wear something like I did when I was in NYC two weeks ago. I paired RED VELVET POINTED BOOTIES from Steve Madden and a RED BAG with a neutral outfit. I’m wearing my favorite chic and cozy sweater dress from Missguided. It is a nude ribbed flared sleeve sweater dress , very elegant high neckline, bell sleeves and I love the color and fit on this so much. Combine sweater dress with a pair of your favorite booties or high heeled over the knee boots or wear leggings when temperature drops. You can play with colors, choose printed or textures leggings or those with a pop of color if your sweater dress is in one color.
Red is great as an accent color, its the first color the human eye notices so if you like attention its Your season 😀
The dress is sold out so similar option here
