It may still be 90 degrees where I live but when it’s September the swimming pools close, the ice-cream trucks stop coming around.

It’s awesome to welcome fall and the cool weather, holiday excitement, and return to a schedule it brings while others like me wish they could stretch the sweet, relaxing days of summer a little bit longer. No matter how you feel, summer is ending.

But before it ends here are 5 things you can do before it gets cooler.

1. Hit the swimming hole before the weather turns

2. Have dinner at the park and watch the sunset

3. Hold a backyard BBQ with all your summer favorites

4. Take one more mini-vacation to enjoy the whole family

5. Embrace the summer clothes before it gets cooler.

This particular dress I got from freepeople ( my go-to shopping destination for any season’s must-haves ) is a great example of that. Can’t really tell you what it is about that I love the most, the style, the light-weight fabric that works equally well for a day at the beach or in the city paired with heels or slides and a cool bag, or is it the intricate detailing which is almost always present in Luxury items. Perhaps, it is the combination of all the above, but whatever it is, this is definitely a dress that I will have, wear and love for years!
